PROGRAMS

The Adobe & Heritage Project is racing funds for a permanent museum and community center to include the following:

Adobe Exhibition - A community-developed informational and educational installation exploring the history and heritage of adobe.

Adobe Live - A station for making adobe with visitors of all ages, as well as on-going adobe workshops, trainings, and fellowships.

Adobe Directory - An online resource listing individuals and organizations involved in adobe making and building with adobe, including experts in adobe rennovation and restoration, as well as associations, courses, and events.

S.E.E. Adobe -  Southwest Experiential Education programs for school groups designed by Community Learning Network to provide community-based service learning and educational immersion opportunities that support historic adobe preservation and maintenance.

Adobe and Heritage Resource Room - in collaboration with local residents, we anticipate a small community library to gather and showcase images, information, and stories of this historic place and its people made by and for the community, but also appealing and educational for visiting student groups and even passing travelers.

Adobe & Heritage Store and Online Gallery to purchase unique educational resources and inspirational, local products and culturally and historically relevant materials.

Adobe Summer's Cool and Adobe After's Cool Camp - provide culturally-inspired and culturally-inspiring extra-curricular activities for area youth to learn the art and history of adobe through service and community engagement.

Adobe & Heritage Blog and Email Updates - highlighting events, educational information, workshops, and historic photos and stories...and showcasing the talents, traditions, individuals and families of the region.

The Roasted Corn Cart - a small but cozy place for a short stop and a quick refreshment on a hot day. Grab an ear of roasted corn, try a homemade tortilla with butter or honey, enjoy our locally made biscochitos, and on special days taste fresh callabacitas. Ice tea, limonada, jamaica, fresh mint water, and even horchata available, in addition to cowboy coffee.

AND....We are raising funds for a permanent HOME!

If you can help by donating a property or funds to rennovate and/or purchase a property, we would like to establish a humble "homestead" facility in the Santa Fe region.
